Women Drivers Really Are Not as Good at Parking as Males, Reports a Recent Report
Ladies, leave your pride at the entrance. Turns out men actually are better than women at steering their automobiles in a spot, if you consider a fresh investigation coming from Europe.
At head-on, driving backwards as well as parallel parking, men surpassed women by maneuvering their vehicles in the center of the area, as per to the analysis which found a mention in the Daily Telegraph.
Findings from the report also showed that the female subjects took noticeably more time to park appropriately, while also not carrying out the mission as accurately as their male contemporaries.
I Might be Required to Sell My Vehicle
I have to put on the market my 2001 Volvo S70 T5M (pegged at roughly $8K) given that the existing one is, at present, too undersized (3 grown ups, 2 children and twins on the way).
I ought to mention that the car has treated me relatively competently and I have, by no means, felt the need of power; and the single basis that I want to sell it is 'coz I, now, want a bigger vehicle.
Can you suggest any ideas in this price range that are:
a) larger
b) similar minimal emission
c) good on quick drives (seeing that that's what we principally do)
d) good on mileage

What's essential is that the vehicle should be from a rather reliable manufacturer, and that the replacement parts should be unproblematic to source and not very high-priced, etc.
Fundamentally, if you are contented with the car I spoke of although you just have to replace it with something that gives you more room, in that case what would you vote for? I enjoy the exterior of the Land Rover. Although I suppose it will be hard to locate one within the given budget. All wheel drives can be usable for our family as we stay in the Appalachian Mountains and a small number of off road tracks are present, but it's not compulsory for it to be a 4×4.
While I await I imagine I will only hold on propelling a hire automobile
Every one of your recommendations would be very appreciated.
A New SUV for my Dad
My father just returned his Toyota 4Runner and is looking to charter something else. He previously expressed that the previous SUV was a little taxing on his posterior and also that the engine capacity was more than he wanted… So he's on the lookout for a 4 cylinder or a small 6, and it has to be Offroader given that he enjoys kayaking, etc… + this is the solitary capacious car in the house, I used his SUV numerous times to move stuff around since I own a Toyota Prius and my wife a Scion Xa.

Anyhow, the price range; it's unquestionably less than US $30k taking into account taxes plus fees.
He did like the Mazda CX7, but it does not have adequate bite, the Turbo edition has superb muscle and drives well, but for that much he thinks he could get something else.
He got a magnificent deal at turbocharged 4-cylinder engine 200-hp 2.0-liter Volkswagen Passat … but he has a dependability concern in view of the fact that our Audi A6 and VW Cabrio were constantly having problems. I told him that through a 36-month charter he shouldn't face any troubles (as opposed to owning the Jeep Wrangler like he had for about 5 years).
We also looked at the latest Kia Sorento, a pretty darn enjoyable car, you can smell excellence all over if you choose to explore this vehicle… Dad even said that he would have bought the vehicle before now if not for the overtly irritating salesman… I feel after taxes it gets to $28k or so, however he does seem to be fond of the car a lot.
He used the Toyota Highlander (4 cylinders) and opined that it drove like crap… I could not inspect that one, nevertheless he seems to be certain that his next SUV will not be a Toyota.
Any ideas? k to k or so? The Volkswagen Tiguan seems like a bad choice and therefore I asked him not to make an effort in checking that, and the Lexus GX470 is too expensive.
